MBI .356 Diameter Bullets - 124 Grain FMJ – 1000 Count

$69.85
Cost Per Bullet 7¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Caliber 9mm Quantity 1000 Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Manufacturer Military Ballistics Industries Manufacturer SKU 9mm124Bullet This is not loaded ammunition. This is a box of component bullets, and as such is only of use to handloaders.
Military Ballistic Industries (MBI) was founded by a machine gun enthusiast as a way of subsidizing his favorite (and admittedly expensive) hobby. Today the American company produces several types of budget-friendly reloaded ammunition, but they also sell their unloaded bullets as handloading components. Once this box of one thousand 0.356” diameter component bullets has entered your possession, you’ll be able to subsidize your own passion for firing 9mm handguns until the cows come home.
These are the basic bullets you need for your everyday range loads. Middleweight at 124 grains; non-expanding full metal jacket design; zero steel that could have attracted a magnet, and thus suitable for firing at all commercial ranges. Just add brass, primers and propellant, and presto – great target loads of your own design and creation.
This box of bullets weighs 18 lbs. Carry it around the block a few times if you’re trying to drop a few pounds before your next title match.Customer Reviews

Cost Per Bullet 19¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 124 Grain Bullet Caliber 9mm Quantity 500 Bullet Type Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Manufacturer Sierra Bullets Manufacturer SKU 9924C This is not loaded ammunition. These are component bullets for handloading. If you do not load your own ammunition, then this is essentially a nine pound paperweight.
If you are familiar with SIG Sauer 9mm self-defense ammunition, then you may already know about the V-Crown bullet. It is a jacketed hollow point with numerous performance enhancing features, and it is produced for SIG in Sedalia, MO by Sierra Bullets. Now’s your chance to load your own 124 grain V-Crown bullets – even better than SIG can, of course!
This JHP’s nose cavity is heavily engineered. There are multiple fissures formed deep into the lead core, and the surrounding jacket is skived where the fissures meet the rim. These features strategically weaken the V-Crown, so it has an easier time achieving fuller terminal expansion over a wider span of velocities.
The V-Crown’s cannelure is not jacket-deep. It actually embeds the jacket to the core, which supplies the weight retention that factors so heavily into effective terminal ballistics for self-defense.Customer Reviews

We have no doubt this shell could bag a coyote or a whitetail, and its utility at the target range is not debatable. But if you’re ever forced to defend yourself, you’ll be very glad to have this ammo on your side.
This shotgun shell is loaded with nine pellets of #1 buckshot. The #1 buck pellet weighs about 40.5 grains, which gives it comparably striking energy to a 22 LR projectile. Naturally, anything that gets hit with nine 0.30” diameter lead balls all at once is going to have a major problem.
Why is this shell loaded with #1 buck instead of tried-and-true double-aught? A couple reasons. First, its lighter shot column translates to reduced recoil – as well as less muzzle flip, which can help you line up follow-up shots faster. Second, the #1 buck pellet’s lower momentum decreases its risk of passing through a threat and/or multiple sheets of drywall. It’s not a guarantee against over-penetration, but it does reduce the risk of it all the same. -

But when your aim is to cut down a buck or a hog with your trusty 223 Rem rifle, an FMJ just ain’t gonna cut it. You need ammo with bullets that can deliver terminal expansion – nothing less than PMC Bronze, in fact!
This ammo hails from the nation of South Korea, and it’s loaded with a medium game hunter’s best friend: the pointed soft point bullet. Each 55 grain PSP attains a consistent muzzle velocity of ~3,200 fps upon clearing a 24” barrel, which is why its ballistic performance is not at all unlike that of a conventional FMJ. But thanks to its lead tip, the PSP is able to follow up impact with fast positive expansion. Shot placement always counts, but you can rest assured the PSP’s terminal ballistics will get the job done right.
PMC loads ammo with the same kinds of components you’d expect from any American manufacturer. That includes steel-free nonmagnetic projectiles, virgin reloadable brass cases, and Boxer primers that cannot produce corrosive residue. Order your case of 10 boxes today and have at it! -

It’s loaded with lead-free primers, too! It’s Winchester Super Clean: your best choice of 40 S&W ammo if you intend to minimize your exposure to toxic gas while training at an indoor range, or are attempting to keep your own land as uncontaminated by lead as possible!
Many lead-free bullets are made of solid copper. Copper isn’t exactly a cheap metal, though, which is why this target ammo’s 120 grain full metal jacket bullets have zinc cores. No lead gas on ignition. No lead residue on the rifling. No lead particles scattered about upon impact with a hard surface, either. Just take care that the zinc core is not frangible, which only means you should observe all the same safety protocol as you would if you were firing conventional ammo.
This ammo’s Boxer primers aren’t just lead free. They are also free of barium and antimony, so you can breathe even easier while you’re working over the bullseyes. A clean-burning propellant charge accelerates the 120gr zinc-core FMJ to a velocity of 1,250 fps out of a 4” barrel, which translates to around 405 ft lbs striking energy at 5 yards. Reloadable brass cases! -

Cost Per Bullet 12¢ per bullet Product Type Bullets Bullet Weight 158 Grain Bullet Caliber 357 Mag, 357 Maximum, 38 Special Quantity 1500 Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Manufacturer Armscor Manufacturer SKU 52271 Please note: These are component bullets, not loaded ammunition. You can not fire these bullets unless you load your own ammunition.
Armscor is earning themselves quite a reputation here in America. Their Rock Island Armory pistols fill a nice niche for people who don’t want to auction off vital organs just to be able to afford a 1911. Their 22 TCM cartridge has promise, even if most of the people asking about it only want to know if they can fire it in a firearm chambered for 22 LR. (No.) And their component bullets, which are produced according to precise tolerances, consistently weighted, and deliver good accuracy at the range, are sought after by handloaders throughout the country.
This meaty slab of .357” diameter bullets is just the ticket for handloaders specializing in 38 Special or 357 Mag. With 1,500 bullets you be able to load 250 six-shot cylinders worth of ammo, and as full metal jackets they’re at once clean shooting and economically designed. Armscor draws a concentric jacket for what is ostensibly a target grade bullet, so your shots will benefit from satisfactory rotational stability and resultant flat trajectories. Buy ten of these cases of bullets and use them to ballast your canoe!Customer Reviews

Third batch, same excellent results
-
I bought my third lot of 1500 Armscor 158 gn FMJ from Widener's. The transaction was great, as usual. Thank you Widener's!
From a statistical standpoint the third batch was equivalent to the first two batches in terms of average weight, average diameter and the standard deviations thereof. I have strong evidence that Armscor has their process under control, but I can't be sure because I have no way of knowing the order in which the bullets are made. Still, these projectiles are of excellent quality and great value for money.
My Henry 357 lever gun and my five Smith & Wesson revolvers are super accurate with these bullets.Review by Steve (Posted on 9/1/2022)

My second batch, awww yeah
-
This review is for the second batch of Armscor 158 gn, 38/357 FMJ's I bought from Widener's.
I'll start by saying that buying from Widener's has always been a pleasure. The prices are fair, the communication is crystal clear, the rather dense product is well-packed and all of my transactions-to-date have been 100% satisfactory. In summary, Wideners' is an excellent supplier to the reloading community.
Now, regarding the bullets that just arrived. I've taken a random sample of 25 bullets just like I did with my first batch of 1500 and I measured & inspected each one. My random sampling method is rock-solid and thus my sample results can be used to make valid inferences on the entire lot of 1500 bullets. The results are great, statistically speaking. The weights and dimensions are on target with a low amount of random (expected) variation. Surface quality, bonding and other physical properties all look great. Absolutely no issues.
From my perspective, I don't think there's a better value in FMJ bullets than Armscor.
But I'll repeat. Armscor, please send primers!!!! :)Review by Steve (Posted on 7/1/2021)

It's not my favorite bullet weight but it was the only one I could get under these unprecedented circumstances we find ourselves in. I jumped on these as soon as I saw them as I was running low on my favorite 125 gr bullet. It's a great value and felt good shot in 38 Spl cases. I haven't tried them in 357 cases yet, but confident that it will perform as well.

With its clawed toes, rows of jagged sharp teeth, venomous stinging tail, and leathery wings, few animals of the forest can stand up to a wolf. It is a good thing we have never seen a wolf in person, or even a photo of one. It’s just too horrifying to imagine.
We’d much rather see a box of Wolf ammunition, because whenever we do it means we’re going to save money instead of being devoured whole. This 9mm cartridge comes from Russia, where economical steel cased ammo is all the rage. Without brass to jack up its price tag, anyone can afford to pepper targets all day with a Wolf round. Steel’s tendency to interrupt a semi-automatic’s cycle is addressed very effectively courtesy of Wolf’s PolyFormance, a polymer coating which greatly reduces how much friction steel can generate.
This cartridge’s 115 grain bullet is also economical, although you’ll find it isn’t so at the expense of being able to feed properly, preserve the barrel from rapid leading, or whiz downrange accurately.Customer Reviews

But Russia hasn’t monopolized the steel-cased ammo business – not by a long shot. Magtech – a subsidiary of the supermassive CBC Global Ammunition group, which is headquartered in Brazil and one of the largest ammo producers in the world – is officially in the steel-cased ammo game!
This 9mm ammo’s steel cases are zinc-plated. They’re prettier because of it, and they get a little extra protection from corrosion as well. Each steel case is fitted with a noncorrosive primer, filled with clean-burning propellant, and seated with a completely nonmagnetic projectile. (Steel cases aren’t reloadable, which does make this ammo a one-and-done kind of affair.)
That projectile is the humble full metal jacket: a bullet which can’t expand upon penetrating soft tissue, but which does feed and chamber with all due efficiency. This round’s muzzle velocity (which Magtech recorded with a 4” test barrel) is just 10 fps faster than the speed of sound. The 115 grain FMJ will issue a supersonic cracking report on ignition and conserve about 91% of its starting velocity 50 yards downrange. -

Magtech 115g FMJ 9mm ammo
-
I tested different brands of 115g 9mm in my full sized Witness and Magtech was the only one that shot a nice tight group. None of the other brands got close until I moved up to 147g bullets and they all shot well then but for a lighter bullet, Magtech took the prize!

But you’re already converted, which is why you’re sure to really dig Fiocchi’s Hyperformance Defense series self-defense ammunition!
Fiocchi produces SS197SR spec 5.7x28 ammo for FN Herstal. This is fundamentally the same exact cartridge, complete with a 40 grain polymer tipped hollow point projectile. In addition to the bullet’s balanced lead core and concentric copper-alloy jacket, the tip helps to promote greater accuracy by significantly streamlining the bullet’s frontal profile. But the tip also remains functional after impact. It drives into the bullet’s concealed nose cavity, commencing rapid terminal expansion that transfers kinetic energy outward.
This smooth-feeding, noncorrosive, Boxer-primed, brass-cased, reloadable and American-made ammo is suitable for all 5.7x28 firearms, including the FN Five-seveN, Ruger-57 and AR-57. -

São Paulo, Brazil – Home of Magtech, which puts their label on over one billion rounds of ammunition every single year. While the NATO supplier certainly produces their fair share of ammo, they’re also here to help you load your own ammo. Here are the component bullets you need to make 7.62x51, 308 Win and a wide range of other .30 caliber cartridges!
This is the same bullet Magtech would use to make their own 7.62x51 M80 ammo, which is to say it is a 147 grain full metal jacket. Most importantly, Magtech does not include steel or any other ferrous metals while fabricating FMJs; as such this bullet cannot attract a magnet. The bullet’s mid-body cannelure facilitates handloading by establishing a tight foothold in the case mouth, and its concentric gilding metal jacket and evenly distributed lead core both provide the good rotational stability you need to pick off distant targets. -

Belom is headquartered in Serbia, and was founded to better supply their nation’s armed forces as well as contribute to the local economy. In just a few years Belom has become internationally recognized for making dependable small arms ammo!
This 7.62x39 cartridge makes a swell pal to any AK-47 or SKS rifle. Its 123 grain bullet is an FMJ, with a hard lead/antimony alloy core and copper/zinc alloy jacket. The 90 percent copper jacket is hard enough to feed reliably and prevent accuracy-harming deformation under extreme pressure. It is also devoid of steel and therefore compliant with indoor ranges that ban the use of magnetic ammo.
This round’s case is made of pure brass and outfitted with a non-corrosive Boxer primer. It fires even cleaner courtesy of Belom’s proprietary double base propellant blend, so you’ll be able to spend less time scrubbing your rifle than if you had chosen steel-cased ammo. Belom’s ammo is engineered to perform on the harsh battlefield, so it is both waterproof and reliable in extreme temperatures.Customer Reviews

This ammo comes in 10 boxes containing 525 rounds each and delivers reliable performance at a very reasonable price.
Each cartridge in this case fires a 36-grain copper plated hollow point (CPHP) bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,260 feet per second. The hollow point expands and fragments for excellent lethality against squirrels, rabbits, nutria, and other pests. This is "high velocity" ammo that performs well in semi automatic pistols and rifles and maintains effectiveness at medium range. It can be fired through a suppressed firearm but will produce a loud boom or crack as it crosses the sound barrier, which somewhat reduces the suppressor's usefulness.
Champion ammo is intended to be both affordable and effective. It is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota by Federal Premium Ammunition, a division of the Vista Outdoor group.

Ok for rifle. Auto pistol is a disappointment.
-
Consistency from round to round will not make your automatic pistol cycle, correct. There are rounds under powered by 50%. It could be just the lot of ammunition that I have because I have never experienced this before from a federal product. I will not buy this blue box federal again I have also heard my contemporaries complain about Winchester white box. I will have to look into this further.

Very good ammo for a very good price
-
I've been very impressed over time with how consistent and accurate this stuff is. In two old target rifles, it's been as or more accurate than any mid- to high-grade match ammo I've tried. With one, an old Martini, if I do my part I've gotten sub-two inch groups at 100 yards on a good day.
Consistent, clean, and accurate.Review by Firehand (Posted on 10/28/2019)

Great product, but packing was not so great
-
Everything with the bullets have been great. Only complaint I had was the packing and shipping. I ordered 5000 bullets but not totally sure I even got them all because the box inside the shipping box was open and bullets where leaking outside them shipping box when it arrived. Nothing to complain about the actual product though.

FMJ or FMJBT?
-
From my experience, these are FMJ's not FMJBT.
Boat-tails have a pronounced taper, these do not and that makes them harder to seat straight. I have to bell the case mouth more to get them to press in straight and that beats up my brass more.Review by Reloder15 (Posted on 2/5/2023)

Federal's Hi-Shok is an older classic design that feeds well in all ages of pistol and has features which form the basis of most modern jacketed hollow-point (JHP) designs. These 115 grain Hi-Shok bullets match the weight of the most common practice rounds for the caliber so that your plinking sessions share consistent recoil and flight characteristic with this premium defense ammo. The projectiles have a narrow cavity at the tip with segments in the copper jacket leading up to it which assist in expansion even when fired at low velocities out of short-barreled carry pistols. This expansion nearly doubles the diameter of the round after impact and creates a wide wound channel for faster incapacitation which is desired for threatening situations.
These 9x19mm cartridges are assembled using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass casings. The casings are crimped firmly to the bullets' toothed cannelure which helps to prevent setback and dud rounds after repeat chambering while also maintaining consistent bullet seat and overall accuracy. Federal Premium is a well-respected name in American ammo production and offers quality products that are highly sought out by hunters, competitive shooters, law enforcement agencies, and private citizens alike.

It was low priced. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was boxed well in 20 round boxes and it looked great. Performed well too, just as all remington ammo has in the past. I like the brass, its a little heavier than other makes and reloads well.

I was looking for better accuracy than I'd found with _ _ _ _ M193 type ammo and reviews indicated the PMC was the answer. Bought a case to function test a new M-4(gery) for another shooter. This ammo is topnotch-more accurate than the carbine's owner can utilize. I just wish I'd bought two cases and kept one.

200 Rounds Fired So Far: 0 Complaints
-
The ammo came in a convenient packaging of 20 rd boxes. Convenient to load two mags of 10 rd each (in the pathetic state of CT, that's all we're allowed). No issues with the firing or ejection. Tight grouping at 25 yards after sighting in. Haven't tried 100 yards yet. No complaints

Fired 3000+ Rounds, not a single issue

PMC Bronze is great ammo. Im on my fourth case right now, and I love it. Zero failures. With my Daniel Defense 16" Carbine and an ACOG I was effortlessly hitting 24" square steel at 500yds with 55gr! I prefer it to other ammo as most other brand 5.56 has the dirty looking annealing burn marks on the neck of the cartridge, but PMC takes the time to polish that off. It doesnt affect function of course, but it is a really nice touch. Quality ammo, buy with confidence.

Each cartridge in this case fires a 130-grain full metal jacket bullet at 1,215 feet per second. Compared to other .38 Super ammunition, this is a relatively mild target load that produces low felt recoil in the large handguns typically chambered for this caliber. Note that this ammo can be fired in any handgun chambered in .38 Super; the +P designation is intended to differentiate it from the obsolete .38 ACP cartridge.
Winchester ammo is loaded in Oxford, Missippi using non-corrosive primers and nickel-plated brass cases.

Igman 7.62x51 147 Grain FMJ M80 – 560 Rounds in Ammo Can

But wouldn’t you rather have 560 rounds of 7.62x51 in a strapping M2A1 ammo can instead? Do the math: that’s 28 times the shooting pleasure. Plus you get an ammo can!
Igman manufactures these M80 ball cartridges and their ammo can in the Baltic country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They won’t let you down at the rifle range, as they are loaded with hard, consistent, and completely nonmagnetic 147 grain full metal jacket projectiles. If you’re stocking up on the ammo you might one day need to defend your homestead against marauders, military-grade 7.62x51 is going to do the trick and then some – even if its FMJ bullets are incapable of terminal expansion.
This ammo’s not like the stuff that comes out of Russia. In addition to its range-compliant steel-free FMJ bullets, it also has freshly produced brass cases and the non-corrosive Boxer primers it needs for future handloading. Everything comes safely tucked away in a super-durable steel ammo can, with a handle for easy transport and a latching, rubber-gasketed lid for indefinite safe storage. -
Winchester USA Target 5.56x45 55 Grain FMJ M193 – 1000 Rounds

Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Winchester Condition New Bullet Weight 55 Grain Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Use Type plinking at the range Casing Type Brass Quantity 1000 Ammo Caliber 5.56x45mm Manufacturer SKU WM193K Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No Cost Per Round 45.5¢ per round Winchester’s USA label doesn’t just stand for American-made. It stands for consistent quality and satisfying target-grade accuracy that you’ll want to take with you whenever you visit the range.
Winchester manufactures their white box ammo specifically for the civilian shooter. They did load this 5.56x45 ammo to our military’s M193 specifications, however, which means it offers the same kind of performance which most veterans of the Armed Forces must already be familiar with.
This cartridge has a 55 grain full metal jacket projectile. At that weight it achieves a steady 3,180 fps muzzle velocity, which will keep it traveling at supersonic speed until around 700 yards – well beyond the 5.56’s effective range. The FMJ’s hard jacket promotes positive functioning in a semi-auto courtesy of its ability to feed smoothly and prevent rapid fouling. This round’s FMJ cannot expand inside soft tissue, although it may fragment apart at higher velocities.
This ammo also sports virgin brass cases. You will notice that they are discolored in the areas where they were annealed, which indicates that the brass is elastic enough to return to its original dimensions after ignition. Alongside their non-corrosive Boxer primers, that makes this ammo’s cases perfect for handloaders. -

Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Fiocchi Condition New Bullet Weight 55 Grain Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) Use Type plinking at the range Casing Type Brass Quantity 1000 Ammo Caliber 5.56x45mm Manufacturer SKU 556M193L Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 762344864259 Cost Per Round 46.5¢ per round Although it performs nearly identically to their premiere Exacta line of ammunition, Fiocchi’s Shooting Dynamics ammo is priced so you can train longer and get more out of your trips to the range. These 1,000 rounds are not remotely wanting in the quality department -- their brass casings are fresh from the factory (possibly in Italy, more likely in Ozark, MO), their Boxer primers are responsive and non-corrosive, and their propellant is clean burning and matched to deliver a consistent chamber pressure, shot after shot.
This M193 Ball round boasts a 55 grain projectile with a full metal jacket, so it’ll feed without issue in your AR-15 and penetrate even unconventional plinking targets. The bullet further features a boat tail design, so its ballistic coefficient is high to give it a flattened trajectory, lower sensitivity to crosswinds, and the ability to retain a better part of its velocity downrange. -

Just like milspec M855, these rounds use 62 grain bullets with light-amor penetrating* steel tips which are painted green for easy identification. As a result, these rounds will match ballistic tables and ballistic drop compensation (BDC) reticles commonly used with modern low power scopes. The reloadable brass casings are annealed at the neck and shoulder for added strength (useful to reloaders) while the non-corrosive Boxer primers are bordered by moisture-blocking sealant. The bullets are full metal jacket (FMJ) and possess toothed cannelures to prevent projectile setback.
PMC is a South Korean based company that sources its ammunition from plants that supply to the ROK military as well as other to other NATO countries. Their X-TAC line is highly regarded for adhering to stringent military specification while still maintaining an inexpensive price for all shooters.
*While this is not armor-penetrating ammunition by definition, some ranges will not allow these rounds to be fired indoors nor outdoors on certain steel targets.

Best M855 I’ve shot
-
I’ve purchased dozens of cases of PMC XTAC M855 because they shoot great in both my 16” 1:7 spin carbine and my 20” 1;9 barrels. Also, they have EXCELLENT brass cases for reloading and last many reloads/firing cycles.
If you want to store these long term, they are sealed completely and should last for decades if stored in a clean sealed container.
BTW, when I started buying these ~10 years ago, they $.17/rnd. Save your brass even if you don’t reload yourself.Review by Pasky2112 (Posted on 8/14/2021)

This is the best M855 ammo I've ever bought. It's not second class or third class M855 like what Lake City is that the public can purchase. PMC sale first rate M855 to the public at a fair price and it's very clean brass.
