8x56 RS Männlicher Ammo
8x56mm RS Mannlicher ammunition cartridges were used in the 1930s and 1940s by Austria and Hungary with the Steyr-Mannlicher M1895 and 35M rifles. The caliber is still used for hunting today, although it is less common than many other former European service cartridges.
Typical loads for this caliber fire a heavy 200 grain bullet at about 2,300 feet per second - that's generally what you'll find in-stock and for sale here at Widener's.
Prvi Partizan is the most reliable source of soft point hunting ammunition for this caliber, although Hornady also produces a load for it.
