Each projectile in this box of 500 is the popular 230 grain Round Nose (RN) that measures .452" in diameter. The bullets got here exactly when they were supposed to, correct quantities, undamaged. I use coated bullets because they've less expensive, and I can use them in my Glocks. Berry bullets have always shot well out of all my pistols, so I have no complaints. I really prefer jackets bullets, but for target/shooting practice,these bullets work well.

i use plated bullets for steel plate shoots. the 45 230gr really hit hard. also used for bowling pin shoots. takes a 3 1/2 lb pin right off the stand.

Sent me .452 diameter bullets instead of .451 diameter!

Would have been 5 stars but they sent me the wrong diameter bullets. I previously ordered .500 .452 diameter bullets and the order came fast and accurate. I then wanted to try 500 .451 diameters to see if they grouped any different but they sent me .452’s again.

First time 45 ACP reloader! Fast delivery! Cheapest pricing!! Extremely forgiving to reload (definitely expand the casing just a little to prevent damaging the plating). Perfect for 45!!! Extremely accurate and the load to 0.001" of SAAMI specs! Very impressive!! Also, soft enough to swipe your bore as you shoot! Great gas seal and extremely accurate... my go to bullet from now on for all 45 applications!

Needed to expand the case mouth slightly but this is not a problem. Some of the other brands bullets seat without this step. I've used thousands of Berry's Bullets with out issue. My preferred bulk bullets.

You can’t fire these bullets right out of the box. You need to pair them up with cases, primers and propellant first.
But you, a handloader, already knew that. These are Berry’s Superior Plated Bullets: perfect for 9mm at 0.356” in diameter, and specifically suited for target practice thanks to their light 115 grain weights and plated flat point design.
Target bullets rarely feature bonded jackets, but that’s just the way Berry’s makes them. Each projectile features a uniformly distributed swaged lead core and flawlessly concentric electrochemically plated jacket. Ignition gasses can’t scorch lead off the bullet’s encapsulated lead core, which means cleaner lungs and a cleaner barrel for you. The bullet’s flat nose profile isn’t on par with a wadcutter, although it still successfully punches out a clear, legible hole through a paper target.
Berry’s put each of these bullets to the caliper to ensure they are uniform in diameter and 0.478" OAL. You’re warned against loading this one to a muzzle velocity higher than 1,250 fps. Otherwise you can detach the core from the jacket and get poor accuracy.Customer Reviews

Thin plating.

Make sure you bell the case enough, otherwise, the seating die will cause the bullet to skive the thin plating off against the case mouth and enter the case off center or buckle the case. Recommendation: use Armscor bullets.

Berry's makes a great product that performs well in the press and also on the range. With the current shortage of ammunition, and zero availability on 38 SPC and 357 Mag, having projectiles to replenish my training rounds is invaluable. Widener's was in stock and delivered fast. Now if if I could find more primers and powder, I would be even more satisfied.
